Our camper had a dark mark on an inside wall, just above the floor and next to the side door, which we asked about at the time of purchase, and were told it was where the previous owner's dog bowl had been. Unlikely, as discovered recently that the area had a damp reading of 90%, so water ingress evident from the start. This directly caused a serious reduction in value, as it had to be put right. This should have been picked up on a habitation check before our purchase. The company's name and address stickers had been placed over two separate areas of damage on the outside, presumably in an effort to disguise. Evidence it had experienced a significant crash in the previous owner's hands, but no mention of this. There was a sharp screw protruding inside one of the base cupboard units. Could very easily have caused a hand gash. One of the top cupboard catches was faulty, and it fell apart. Evidence of a previous (unsuccessful) repair. A strip of trim inside was loose and flapped around when vehicle was being driven. Being inexperienced motorhome owners, these faults were only noticed after 3-month guarantee was out. So, buyer beware!
