The carpark is tight and on a slope. Not ideal for wheelchair users or people with mobility issues. The main walk through a beautiful deciduous forest is a loop. There are a number of raised steps which again would be very challenging for some. Nice spot though and about five miles from Newtownards

A short forest walk on a circular route with great views from the viewing point at the highest point. Hand rails have been recently added to make the uphill bits easier and safer. There's not much in terms of amenities. Just a car park and some picnic tables, but no toilets. Entry is free.
