Quite simply the best tasting fish and chips ever. Finally, we have found somewhere that knows how to cook fish!!! Batter superb and crispy. Definitely planning to return. Can't come soon enough.

Delicious fish and chips, and very generous portion sizes. Our first time here before the Lionel Richie gig so there was a bit of a wait as everyone had the same idea. We ordered 3cod 2 chips, the lady split the chips across all the fish for us and still the portion was very generous. Fish are large and chunky, and the batter is crispy and dark but not heavy. Chips were lovely. Recommend

Omg Amazing seaside fish and chips Portion sizes are huge! We ordered 3 medium Haddock, chips and peas and was plenty of good to feed 2 adults, 1 teen and 3 children. Good value for money too! Presented in a box so you can eat out or take home or holiday apartment in our case! Hubby enjoyed so much he visited twice during our stay. Covid social distancing measures in place, so slight wait but worth it for such delicious fresh food. If you're in Scarborough or passing through this chippy is sooo worth a visit!

Tucked away around the back of Scarborough, North Bay Fisheries serves a wonderful haddock and chips. There's some seating outside, but the view of the main road isn't exactly picturesque. I visited during the lunchtime slot so all the food was freshly-fried and piping hot. The batter didn't hold too well to the fish, but it was so light and crispy that it got a pass on deliciousness alone. The chips were fluffy and went really well with the crunchy complimentary scraps.

On holiday looking for best chippy and this was listed and I can see why. Without doubt the best fish and chips we have had. The batter is lovely and with the added 'scraps' added a real crunch. Also I feel that the social distancing organisation of this clearly busy fish shop was second to none as your order was taken in the queue outside and was almost completed when you were called into the shop. A great chippy and one I would highly recommend.
