I have no reservations in recommending NE Mobility. Donald at the Galashiels Shop was knowledgeable,flexible and helpful. It was a pleasure to find a local supplier of mobility equipment who you could trust to give reliable advice and who keeps to his word. Much better than buying from the web.

We recently needed a wheelchair urgently and Donald came to the rescue by delivering one to us within a few hours. Highly recommended. He also took time to advise us about other equipment which we might need in the future.
My aunt had a stroke we needed a riser and recline dual motor chair. Donald helped us decide which chair - he then sourced it for next day delivery. True to his word it was delivered to my aunts home by Donald who personally assembled it, then proceeded to assist my aunt patiently with a demonstration of the chair in action. I have given 4 stars rather than 5 as this chair is available in a disability warehouse where I live on south coast of England. For a cheaper sum. I guess living in a large metropolitan area volume has an effect on price. Nevertheless, we were delighted and would recommend northeast mobility to the people of the Scottish Borders without hesitation.
My wife and l both had accidents in October. I had previous met Donald in 2014 and he remembered me! We bought my wife a rise and recline chair which she loves. I got the four button version which is almost as good as a bed. I also bought a travel scooter as my walking distance is resricted. An Ace Rapide. I am 100% happy with my purchase and Donald has been a real treasure throughout.
I found the customer service first class, Donald Hunter was both knowledgable and extremely helpful in respect of the most suitable product to meet my needs. I am more than happy with the scooter I purchased and comfortable in the thought that should I have a problem he would be more than happy to help and advise.
Cannot fault service that we received from Donald at north east mobility,had a look in shop then went to Edinburgh for look at other places but after speaking to Donald ,just his care and knowledge brought us back to Galashiels to buy electric wheelchair,great knowledge and service. Thanks Donald
Firstly I would like thank the staff for the kind help that they have executed towards me obtaining and purchasing the suitable product ie the correct model of scooter for myself the service I have received has been second to none.
I Recently purchased a stairlift from North East Mobility and I would like to say this company this says what it means and means what it says and I have found they have kept there promises. The stairlift was fitted within one week of ordering and fitted by two polite engineers. Thank you Donald,Mike and Liam.
