The North London Hospice does incredible work. My mum was adamant she wanted to die there. It has a calming environment and a lot of space to hang out as a family when you are not in the room with your loved one. The volunteers bring you tea, and there are support staff to support with your mental health. The nurses and doctors are extremely kind and respectful. My mum smiled at one of the nurses who was so cheerful, even a day or so before she died. Another nurse actually managed to make me laugh, helping me get comfortable so I could stay the night and be with mum. A hospice is a strange place, something that is difficult to become familiar with. What is a very sad place is also incredibly beautiful.

This beautiful place couldn't of given my mum a more dignified place to pass on. They are so kind and attentive and I'll never forget their generosity. I spent every night at my mums bedside and they were so kind to always offer me meals/any help too. I often pop back in on her birthday/christmas to give the nurses a small gift, but I truly don't think anything will ever be thank you enough. Such a beautiful place full of beautiful people.
My experience with the staff and the love and respect that North London Hospice showed to my mum will never leave me. I am a carer myself and I could have done any more for my mother she was surrounded by kindness and they made what could have been a really bad time something that I treasure for a long time.
The staff here are fantastic. The care they provide is just unbelievable. I will be actively doing my best to raise awareness and charity for the NLH indefinately for the service they have provided my family and I in recent times. We genuinely can not thank the staff here enough for what they do
Fantastic staff and truly helped my dad in his last few days
