Great to be able to try it as it’s open on Tuesday! Tried the cod with prawns and chips; it’s all well cooked, great batter, fresh and non oily. The curry sauce is a must try and highly recommended to try their food when you around Tynemouth area.

We ordered online . 2 fish & chips with a side of mushy peas & a side of curry sauce. Cod was light, fresh and flaky. Batter was crispy, bubbly, salty and extremely moreish . Sides were ample and just the right size portion. All served in a quality cardboard package with a wooden fork . The weather was wet & cold but we were in heaven. We sat in our car and devoured the lot. It wasn't the 1st time( Longsands Fish Kitchen has become our go to guilty secret) It certainly won't be our last ! Live it!

It is a reasonably priced takeaway. Good portion sizes and not to greasy. Always my top pick when fancying fish and chips!

Passed today 1/2/21 The amount of people inside is showing the lack of social distancing. Also letting a load of people sit on the tables outside is totally unacceptable so I won’t be going in. Went to woods for a coffee and snack instead. You need to sort this out before you get into trouble.

I've tried more than a few and this is my favourite fish and chip shop in the area. High quality ingredients cooked to perfection by a friendly and professional team. The astonishingly reliable and punctual Click & Collect service is very much appreciated during the Covid-19 pandemic. Highly recommended.
