Made a lot of visits here during the Eat Out to Help Out as it was the perfect time to sample everything on offer. Can't fault. The food is delicious, the Covid precautions well maintained and the staff very friendly, polite and attentive. The lunch menu is always tasty, the fish is beautiful (and huge!) but I think the breakfast menu may be my new favourite brunch. Recommended

1st time trying The Lock after recently moving to the royal quays and we weren't disappointed. Staff were amazing, so friendly and made everything nice and calm during such a stressful time. Food is absolutely delicious and massive portions!!! Will defo be returning...a.s.a.p!
Fabulous meal. Excellent quality and great price. Staff friendly and helpful. Just stumbled across this place after walking. Will definitely be back ( and will be trying the breakfast on another visit as that breakfast looks really good too!).
Just had lamb roast lunch. Was beautiful lamb very tender with plenty of veg & large Yorkshire pud. Staff very pleasant & helpful. We only went looking for coffee but the smells of roast dinners changed our mind. Not expensive but not the cheapest. Sits on Marina at Port of Tyne. Great location. Social distancing measures were in place.
