Sally is amazing Instructor! She knows a lot, and the way of teaching is great. She give you the motivation and knowledge you need to have the best surfing day! \u200d️ I only had two lessons and I can feel how I’m improving and understanding what I’m doing. 100% recommended if you want to have fun on the water . She’s a surfer star Can’t wait to keep learning with her.

Yonder is a fantastic surf school and Sally is an awesome teacher. Having tried surfing abroad I wanted to come back and make the most of where I live. I am not a natural but love being in the sea (total life tonic) - Sally has helped me feel relaxed, to go with the flow and learn so much about understanding the sea (and weather systems!) and technique on the board. She is honestly the most observant teacher, with every little bit of guidance helping me progress each time. I swear she must have eyes everywhere! She has totally changed my mindset and I don’t feel embarrassed - I just want to get out, keep practicing and having fun.
I love learning to surf with Sally! She’s a superb instructor and is really patient. She only does the surfing lessons when it’s suitable for beginners which I like. The communication is fast. Everyone is so friendly in these lessons. I definitely recommend group sessions or one to one sessions with Sally.
This was my first ever time surfing, but Sally made me feel so confident and comfortable, as did the other lovely attendees. Cannot recommend enough, especially if you're already based in the North East. Can't wait for the next session. :)
Get into the sea with Surf Yonder! Sally is the real deal - awesome teacher and inspiration for a huge community of women. For anyone of any ability. If you want to enjoy nature, feel safe in the water, gain confidence and utterly fall in love with the sea.
