Beautiful frosty day at a lovely park. Plenty of space to walk and play. Great place to take the children. Free parking (I hope!).

Great park to walk around with loads to see, including ancient history (protected area). During winter periods, suitable footwear for wet/muddy conditions is recommended as it gets really boggy. Area well kept and lots of play equipment for children. Ironstone railway also runs through on selected dates. Wouldn't recommend walking alone during darker hours as would be unsafe. There is also a car park and and small cafe for food and drink.

Lovely walk, cafe is fab too. A great find.

Great place for a walk and to clear your head. Ancient monument iron age fort to walk round , tree trail to follow and children's playground. Plenty of open spaces to exercise and walk your dog or yourself. Follow the old drovers road down to the canal for alternative walk. Carpark and small cafe for after walk treat.
