There are many different walks going through Dukeswood, and it's easy to do a different route every time you go. Good woodland to walk in (especially with a dog), fairly flat although can get muddy. Look out for large ant hills and deer. Parking is across a road in a layby. Can get busy at weekends.

I went here nearly four years ago now, and it was overall a great experience! I'm very bad at sport in general, but I had a good time here and didn't feel pressured to do anything. It was unfortunately raining for the whole trip, but the instructors really did their best to make everything as safe and fun as possible. I feel like the only two slight problems were the food and the dorms - the portion sizes were a little too small for me and the bedding had a few dirt and muddy, unclean patches. Other than that, I had a really enjoyable trip and would recommend it - it was one of the best residential trips I've ever been on!

Went 4 years ago and I genuinely hated it. The bedrooms were disgusting and had a cracked window beds were disgusting. The food was atrocious and awful. It was that bad I went home after 3 hours of arriving, Stay away

Fantastic centre, very cost accomodation and enough food to keep our young people going all day long! Excellent ropes activities along with a very enthusiastic staff team! Great weekend for my Cadets!
