If you're looking for a nice sized tasty portion, then look no further. Everything I've had so far, sausage, spam, chips and scraps are cooked just right and really have no negative comments and cannot fault the taste or size of the portion provided. Ive walked past this chippy 3 times this week and after the first visit, had to stop for a tasty treat each time I've walked that way. Would have added a photo but unfortunately the food doesn't last long enough. Will update this post when I visit again, because this will be my go to chippy from now on!

Good old fashioned fish and chips, judging from the lovely smell, I suspect they are cooked in propper fat too. Delicious and fresh.

This global pandemic brings out the worst & best in people. Sadly for the two females in this shop it’s brought out the worst. You should respect your customers as they are the reason you open your doors every day. Speak to them like something you scrape off your shoe & you will soon be serving no one, especially the screaming banshee behind the fryer. Time for a new regular chippy where a customer is treat with respect

Visited yesterday afternoon . Unfortunately, I didnt even get as far as ordering food. Opened the door and asked the lady behind the counter if they were open (I was trying to be polite as the door was closed and just wanted to make sure before i walked in). The rude lady behind the counter simply stared at me for a few seconds and then snapped back with 'of course we are'. I am not sure why it was so necessary to be so rude to a customer. If the said lady owns the business then fair enough, however if someone is actually employing her then a bit of staff training may be in order.

It’s no wonder people travel from all over the boro to come to this fish and chip shop as it’s by far the best around in my opinion. We’ve tried many over the years and you just can’t come close to the standard this chippy sets. The owner and staff are great and it seems they love working there and being part of something special. Fish portions are the size of your arm and the chips are cooked to perfection. Honestly if your looking for anywhere to go look no further than this norton based chippy. It’s won awards for its food.
