Purchased a land rover discovery 3. Advised I could collect the following Saturday. Collected the car at 8.30am. Break error message appeared on dash but was told 'nothing to worry about' I went and Filled with 80 of diesel. 1pm low coolant light appeared on dash despite a 'full service' including fluids being done before we picked the car up 3pm we noticed the rear door wasn't locking. 7pm key fell apart. 8am the next morning engine failure light came on while driving. 1pm - electric hand break stuck on so had to be brought home on the back of a recovery lorry. Following morning we noticed a large amount of diesel on our driveway (photos taken). Called the garage and asked for a refund. Was offered a fix of the car, 500 off another car or refund. I wouldn't drive one of their cars if I was paid to so I asked for a refund. Car was collected. Refund issued Monday morning of full amount plus diesel. Wednesday called and queried when the money would be in the bank - told it was either instant, or 7 days. He wasn't sure. Thursday - still no money. Called again and have been told it was done wrong and they would send the money via bank transfer. I asked for the full amount plus fuel as previously agreed. To be told she was only told to do cash amount not fuel I am absolutely horrified I was sold such a dangerous car, the people who sold it saw I have 3 small children yet sold it anyway. Thank goodness I was driving in a car park slowly when the hand break came on stopping the car and not on a motorway with my babies in the car. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent friendly family business. Nothing was to much trouble when we were part exchanging my old discovery for a newer model and they had a great range of vehicles to test drive and choose from and offered lots of good advice. Emails were responded to quickly answering all the questions I had. I will definitely be using them for all the servicing as well over the coming years as they have some of the tidiest workshops I have seen.

Bought a 4x4 from Ben and it developed a small fault just outside of the warranty but Ben replaced the part with no quibble and even lent us a vehicle to get to work. Very fair man and knowledgeable staff.
