As we were staying in the village, and had previously been to the pub during an earlier visit, we thought we would go again as loved it last time. We went on the website prior to going to check out anything we needed to know before visiting, under the current circumstances. As per instructions we rang and booked a table for the same evening. When we walked down to the pub, all guidance was clear and staff were very helpful. We felt extremely safe throughout our whole visit. All staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious - cooked to perfection. As per our previous visits we had such a relaxing evening that we'd definitely go again next time we are staying in the village. Thank you to all of the staff!!

Great food and great service. I can recommend the steak pie. But it is very big. Make sure you are hungry

Really lovely food, decent portions and very tasty. The staff were really lovely and plenty of anti bac around and good one way system. Only thing I would mention is that the service was very slow, yet it wasn't an overly filled pub. Would definitely go again though

Absolutely wonderful. We had the two pies, and they were both sublime. I'd strongly recommend the beef and ale, as they kindly applied beefy gravy to my chips. Also surprise superstar were the proper, homemade marrowfat mushy peas. Excellent service, cosy and spacious. We live 150 miles away and we'll still go back.

Friendly and efficient staff. Good beer (try the Southwold) Well cooked and tasty food. We had the potted crab and the baked plaice. Good selection of wines sold by the glass. Prices are a bit on the high side. Stylish and very clean toilets. Book in advance as the place is popular with locals.
