We read lots of reviews about lots of coin dealers and chose Nottingham Coins and Medals because of his overall reviews. He was knowledgable and informative and no pressure was put on us to sell even though he had spent a long time with us. Once we did decide to sell , the money went into our account immediately. I would recommend him without hesitation .

When I left the army I was homeless and unemployed, I sold this man my medals out of desperation, which obviously isn’t his fault. Since then I am back on my feet and contacted him with the hope of buying my medals back. My medals have been passed on to a collector which I expected, but I was hoping he would help me to get in touch with the current owner so that I could make an offer, but he had no interest in helping me. Now I am aware that I have no rights because I sold them, but I can’t help but be angry about someone who exploits down and out veterans with no compassion.

Many thanks for you guidance and history of old UK currency. A cache left by my late Father-in-Law of various 1p; 1/2p; Sixpences; Shillings; Florins; Two Shillings; Half Crowns and assorted coins. Decent price for those selected. No hassle, good advice and happy with payment.

Just visited Paul to show him some old coins I had. Although they did not have any value, I found the experience very interesting. He was very informative about the history of the coins I had. He was friendly and welcoming and I would highly recommend that you visit him if you had any coins which needed valuing.

He's a genuine guy who'll take the time to explain anything of interest, particularly something out of the ordinary, and will give you a fair price. Would highly recommend.
