An absolute hidden gem! Have lived in Nottingham all my life and walked right by this many times. Never knew it existed! If it isn't already, this needs to be a listed site. We need to preserve historical wonders like this. Such a beautiful walk through. If you don't like pigeons, I'd recommend just observing from a distance. There are quite a few nesting on the ledges in the sandstone above. I absolutely love this site. A truly beautiful spot to visit in Nottingham!

The Park side of the tunnel is nicely lit and quite interesting to see (large icicles in recent cold snap) - surprisingly big. The city-side of the tunnel is something different, suffering slightly from the pigeon population and a lack of even lighting... But definitely worth checking out as part of a walk or run, etc.
Great little gem from the past not long but still worth a visit as the size and engineering of it is just mind bobbling.
Secret Nottingham it's such a nice little place that brings you back in time. Also very safe to walk through it.
