As an employer, the university states they offer a guaranteed interview under the Disability Confident Scheme, but that is not true. I have a certain disability, so when asked if I would like to be considered under the DCS, I selected 'yes'. They sent a midnight email at the end of the week, saying that they won't be proceeding further with my application, and didn't offer an interview. Why do you offer it if you are not prepared to do it? I suppose it makes you look all-accepting and it must be good for marketing, too...

We went on the boats and then spent some time in the kids play area. Definitely recommend it.

The university grounds and the associated Highfields are one of the jewels of Nottingham's green spaces. There is so much to see and do, obvious caveats with current covid situation, but the walks are lovely. The grounds over the years have been opened up linking the uni and highfields together. Places of note: millennium gardens; walled gardens; old botanical gardens; big play area for the children. Crazy golf and boating when lockdown is over, but a new feature on the site of the old paddling pool looks really nice and I'm sure will mature over time. You can still get drinks and snacks at the kiosk. Been coming here since I was a boy and still love coming, as does my wife, daughters and their children. Would always recommend a visit.

Great place for the whole family'golf course/ boats/paddle board lessons plus cafe great park&loads of wildlife.they just need to sort out the paths&parking.

Very nice campus to go for walk and a 15 minute walk from Wollaton Hall
