Went in for a hardwood offcut to repair a wooden window. Received brilliant service from staff there and left 5 minutes later with a piece of wood, cut and planed to the exact size for a very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended.

I have now visited the shop on two occasions. Both times ignored the first time for 10 mins despite there being a member of staff free. The last occasion the member of staff looked straight through me. I left and went to Travis Perkins. The were so welcoming and helpful. I will never set foot in North Yorkshire timber again. If you are the owner I suggest you start with some intensive staff training!
