The price was astronomical, went in to get 3 sheets printed which was 51p... Ended up 3.51 because of a 'media charge' due to having to use a memory stick! I don't know how else I would have passed him the information I needed. The man who served me seemed displeased with me even though I tried to be friendly with him. Ridiculous.

This Stapes store, around half a mile from the city centre, is a little off the beaten track. It has a reasonable stock of computing and office supplies and friendly, helpful staff who seemed to know their product range, but are happy to let customers browse and experiment in peace. I've only given it four stars because of the location.
A reliable location for printing and office supplies, computers, printers, ink and some chairs and furniture. Can't go wrong, really. Occasionally there's unusual things like blue roll, but if a business runs out of that and Nesbits is closed on a Sunday then you know where to go.
Shopped here a few times, the staff could be a little more knowledgeable about their stock as when questioned they had limited information about items I was buying and ended up buying a hard drive that wasn't comparable with my smart TV and having to go back and change it for an external hard drive instead.
Good selection of products, but not the cheapest. I prefer to buy online.
A Fantastic store with friendly Staff and very helpful Staff and plenty of items to choose to buy.
Great for all your office stationery, but unfortunately there isn't really anything you can't get on line for the same price or cheaper
If you want quick turnaround printing A4 to A2, you really won't get a better service in York.
