Stayed in Fir Lodge, the accommodation itself was good, clean and well presented. However was disappointed that the \enclosed garden\ was not fully enclosed, so being that we travelled with a dog wasn't convenient at all. Having the pub a few minutes walk away is fantastic! Would stay again though

We're currently staying at holly lodge and couldn't be more impressed. We booked it very last minute and it's honestly the most perfect place we'd had all the time to book it. Really thought we'd struggle to find somewhere for 2 adults 3 kids and baby a puppy with a hot tub a priority! But voila! For the price it's amazing, we love the quiet and privacy this lodge has with fields to the side and behind. Facilities are amazing. really really can't fault it and will definitely be coming back!....my only concern is by saying how great it is it will be fully booked all the time!

We spent a week in the Maple Lodge. Owners very friendly, the lodge was clean and spacious, well equipped , in a pretty secluded wooded spot. There is some noise from the A30, but it did not spoil our stay. This is a good base to touring around Dartmoor and Devon.The lodges are dog friendly, and the lane across the road leads to a wonderfull wood with a river running through it, unfortunately the bluebells had just finished. 10 minutes way is Simmons Park which is lovely, our dog loved it., also Meldon Reservoir is near as well, also good for dogs. We had a wonderful time, and look forward to visiting again.
