I am writing this review from the perspective of a customer who has used Onboard Energy for a complex lithium battery system installation on our Narrowboat and I have no experience of anything that they do beyond what I have used them for After seeing an online video on the Journey With Jono YouTube channel I was keen to take advantage of the benefits that this modern technology brings. It is a super expensive project to undertake though so I was naturally quite anxious and cautious about getting the right people to take care of it for me Jono spoke highly of Onboard Energy in his video so it seemed like a natural choice to give them a call. From the moment that the phone was answered that very first time, I knew immediately that these guys were a safe pair of hands for our investment. Adrian the boss clearly has years of experience under his belt and he knows Narrowboats and modern electrical systems very well. Kevin is the electrical guy at Onboard Energy (he probably does other stuff too) and he came out to us to perform the installation. He was prompt, very easy to get along with and he thoroughly understands this new lithium technology but equally as important is his resourcefulness and practical skill set that really became apparent as he dealt with one challenge after another. All in all, I am happy to say that my experience has been a pleasant one, or as pleasant as it could be when parting with considerable amounts of hard earned. 10 out of 10 for the Onboard Energy team at Springwood Haven Marina (Nuneaton)

Absolutely great service, just how a business should be- putting customers first. A solar panel was damaged in transit and within no time I received a phone call apologising and a replacement was despatched without question. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

I had a great experience working with Onboard Energy to implement a Victron off-grid energy system in my campervan. Being totally new to this area, I did a ton of research to figure out what I wanted in the system. However, I got a few details wrong which Kevin at Onboard Energy kindly corrected! Working together, we agreed the full system layout and having his expertise made me feel a lot more confident. We agreed that I would install all of the components myself, and then make a trip to Onboard Energy where Kevin would wire them all up for me and set up the system. When I started installing, I was able to send Kevin photos to get his feedback on placement before committing. This meant that when I arrived for the wiring to be done, things went very smoothly. Kevin did a top job, putting a lot of effort into keeping all the cables tidy and thinking ahead to future maintenance by placing things in the most accessible locations. Must also thank Sue for all the cups of tea provided during my visit! I know if I have any issues with the system in the future then I can just call Onboard Energy to get assistance, which is going to be reassuring when venturing off grid in the camper. Highly recommended.
