Had a take away from here a few times. I've always found it over greasy and not as full of flavour as other take aways, but i went back because it was close. Tonight I ordered chicken with mushrooms. It was literally loads of oil with some thin gravy at the bottom (separated from all the oil). It was truly disgusting and tasted of nothing but grease. Went straight in the bin. When I've had this dish from other take aways the sauce has been rich and thick and tasted lovely. Save your money and make an effort to drive further afield. The Chinese in Ashby is worth the trip!

Had a takeaway from here tonight and it has to be one of the worst we have ever experienced. Chips were rock hard overcooked and mostly scrap bits from previous days fry. Sweet n sour chicken with mainly batter and slithers of chicken in a vinegary tasting sauce. Overall totally disappointed with this meal and will never eat from there again. Picture of chips is from one portion and the rest were digestible but this is after sorting through the whole portion.

We have a takeaway from here most Saturday nights. Tonight we've sent the lemon chicken back to the shop - it was literally a 1/4 inch thick, rubbery textured chicken and icky wet batter - and swimming in grease. Missing one rice. Chips over cooked and many of them burnt. The vegetable dish has a strange \on the turn\ smell about it. There was a hair in the plastic bag. Won't be going again.

I don't usually bother giving reviews online but this Chinese is amazing. Food is prepared infront of you in the open plan kitchen, friendly staff and most importantly it tastes amazing. So glad I found a new Chinese to go to!
