I have just completed the last session with Hulya after going to her with both of my children who had stammers. I had always dreamt of this day when I would have two completely fluent children but never believed it would happen. I nearly gave up a couple of times as the lidcombe is very parent based and takes its toll but Hulya gently encouraged me with lots of different ideas and ways to go forward. she was always there to ask questions and help. I cannot recommend Hulya enough. she was fantastic with the children and easy to talk to and came up with ideas that really worked. I know Hulya has changed my childrens lives forever and being stammer free has given my son so much more confidence. To anyone thinking of starting this journey... go for it!!!

I am pleased to write this review and recommendation and can not underestimate the positive experience our son had with Hulya. Our son attended speech therapy with Hulya for 12 months and both the progress and experience he had has been phenomenal. Hulya had always time to address all of our questions and gave us much needed guidance. Our son’s vocabulary, expressive language, sentence formation and articulation has improved immensely in the last 12 months, thanks to his and Hulya’s hard work. We would highly recommend Hulya for a wonderful experience dealing with our son’s speech needs

My son had seen several Speech Therapists with limited success, before we found Hulya - her approach was a game-changer and her results have been impressive. She is the only practitioner who has taken the time to genuinely consider and understand my son's character as well as his condition. I cannot recommend Hulya highly enough. My son loved his sessions and just thought he went to play, which is great that he didn’t see it as a chore or that he was learning to do something. His speech improved very quickly and meant that Hulya told us she didn’t think he needed anymore sessions, but to see what we thought after the summer break, which we did and then agreed that he didn’t require anymore. He still talks about Hulya and his sessions with such fondness and he is now more confident as his speech is so clear, which we cannot thank Hulya enough for.

I was diagnosed with old age voice even though I am only 57. I was not sure if seeing Hulya was going to make any difference to my voice and thought I would just have to live with it, but after only two meetings with Hulya my voice is back to normal and I don’t need to see her again. Hulya put me at ease and has given me exercises to do at home if I should have any problems in the future. I cannot thank her enough for making me sound like me again.

When I first came to Hulya with my 5 year old daughter, I never dreamt I would ever hear her speak without a stutter. It broke my heart when she struggled to get her words out and I was petrified what the future had in store for her and her stutter. Fast forward 2 years and my daughters speech has transformed, her stuttering has completing gone and I now have a happy confident chatty daughter. This would not have been possible without Hulya and I cannot begin to thank her or praise her enough. I would recommend anyone who has a child with speech or language difficulties to see Hulya.
