I have been a loyal customer with Iceland for a very long time. But I'm afraid my last delivery was a complete disaster, delivered 22.12.20 ,( with I'm afraid 17 items missing off my delivery that I had paid for, broken eggs also. This is not the first time I have had missing items, but this is an utter disgrace. I rang the store, and the girl said she would contact driver, but booked me in for the next delivery day 23.12.20 ( 7-9pm slot ). I asked if she could ring me back, to confirm either way if driver had my goods or not . She never rang back, so on the morning of 23.12.20 I rang the store. The Manager said was nothing booked down for a new delivery, and he would ask the girl when she started her shift. He told me not to worry as he promised faithfully that my order would be delivered on 23.12.20. He asked me to ring back after 1pm, so I did, only to be passed onto another member of staff who said was no way they could get the goods out to me , only offered refund for items. I couldn't believe what I was hearing at all, I phoned Customer service,and they rang the store, and they still wouldn't budge. Mine was a VIP delivery, like other people on here. She was very apologetic, and sorted the refund, and offered a 5.00 off a 40.00 shop if I decided to shop with them again. I'm afraid that I won't be shopping with Iceland again, and the staff and Manager at the Branch in Ossett Wakefield West Yorkshire ( get your act together please) . Don't promise something you can't fulfill. Very annoyed
