We hired the Wicked William for four days mid-September and had a lovely time. The Whittington staff were very informative and helpful. On the return, the handover was quick and simple. The boat is very comfortable and had everything we needed. For two people, there was loads of space and we didn’t have to worry about converting lounges into bedrooms. The weak point of this boat is also its strength: there is no access from inside to the front deck for the “lookout position”. However, the reason for this is the super-comfortable fixed king-size bed in the front cabin. We slept well and didn’t worry about stopping to change ends while cruising! The boat also looked very smart from the outside with its bright red colour scheme. It looks great on our photos! This was our first time in a narrow boat, and we would certainly like to try it again.
