I was determined to pursue a career in architecture in the UK, having no previous experience of Art & Design, and with a limited command of English Language - embracing every opportunity to participate in new things - whether it was tennis or regular current affairs debates and quizzing competitions. I have improved my IELTS scores, developed critical thinking and completed my Art & Design portfolio within a year and was accepted by Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London - one of the oldest and best schools of architecture in the world.

I went for a easter revision course for biology here and it was appalling. From the boarding house where I was given a room which hadn't been cleaned from the last guest to a biology teacher shouting at me and another student telling us we were 'bad students' and ultimately making us very upset - it was a horrible experience. Classrooms are messy and small with not enough tables and chairs for everyone. We complained about the biology teacher to the head of subject and he was incredibly rude about it, making sarcastic comments and encouraging arguments. My parents were called down and we were invited to talk to the principal, which we did. I made a list of things i wanted to say and points i wanted to put across about why i had complained in the first place and how i felt like this matter was handled very badly. It was met with a very defensive and childish approach. My mum and I were not impressed. After several discussions and a day of learning wasted they offered me and another student a different biology tutor who was very good. However we were only offered this for 2 hours a day for the last 2 days! Please do not waste your money on this place as I learnt nothing.

Generally high quality of teaching; the school is located in the city center and can grasp a nice view of Oxford on the balcony. The welfare helped me a lot during my university application.
