One of the hottest places for an night out in Oxford. Hidden gem through an alley way, down a secret cellar bar. Amazing aspect, vibe and place for an night out in Oxford, with affordable drinks and cheap entry fee of 2.00 it is an must go place in Oxford. Alongside their amazing offer for 2 for 1 cocktail menu which is amazing deal and good drinks Plush is an LGBTQ bar, perfect for all, respectful bar staff, friendly bouncer / security, really amazing aspect even during these Covid times, following strict regulations protecting staff and customers. The Music is very important for any night out especially in a bar, very good selection of classics which make you of course start singing and dancing in your booth / table with an live DJ streaming from there house the aspect is amazing. Very positive place. Toilets and tables are very clean and maintained following Covid rules and regulations. Well worth a visit for students, and tourist for a fun night out, bar is a first come first severe basis however we normally just turn up.

When in Oxford I prefer to go anywhere other than here. Read the reviews.....I assure you the bad ones are very accurate. This place has no class, obnoxious staff. I would like to see this place closed down.

A very fiery and friendly bar, but the guards can be rude if you drink a lot. Good fiery music. They often hold promotions, if you register and create a profile at 909gay,com they will provide you with a free cocktail and a private room for 2 hours, just show the bartender a profile

DJ would not stop talking over the music. Venue is SOOOOO hot. Bouncers are rude. No disable access. Narrow dance floors with no space

Am currently using Plush WiFi from the dance floor to write this review because the amount the DJ feels the need to interrupt the songs to yell into the microphone is appalling. Would you interrupt someone mid orgasm? Don’t interrupt someone just before the climax of the song. Just sayin......

Plush has absolutely no regard for the wellbeing of its customers. After finishing work with some friends, I was ready to have a laid back and exciting evening. Whilst the music was good, the evening was immediately ruined by repetitive unwanted attention from other customers. Despite several attempts of asking them to leave us, they wouldn't stop and so we believed it suitable to tell a security guard. We gave a full description of the man in question, and when we returned we found he was still there. Later, as we left at closing I reported a second man who was aggressive, hoping the club would take up some sort of action. The security guard was incredibly patronising despite the very obvious distress I was experiencing. Then in choosing to take the situation further, I was made to feel as if I were at fault. I was incredibly disappointed in Plush failing to take care of these circumstances, and the blatant insensitivity on part of the security team.

Quite racist but they have a non-white bar manager who will at least hear you out (hence 2 stars). One of the security guys pushed and made me spill my drink on to myself and when I complained took my drink and threw it on the floor for someone else to clean up. I had witnesses but at least the supervisor knew that was not ok and got me another. Still was really annoyed
