The best time to go is autumn! The foliage is beautiful!! We had a lovely man who was very friendly and made some interesting conversation. I was comfortable and although I was on a date it did not feel intrusive at all! It was pricey but I had brilliant company and as I've always wanted to go punting I thought it was worth it!

On a nice day this is truly a beautiful and relaxing experience! The line was long but worth the wait to get a pedal boat for three. We all took it in turns to help pedal together and weave through other boats. It was quite a workout! We took some beautiful pictures and enjoyed the pretty scenery. I would highly recommend!

I went on a private punt with my partner and it was very nice. the guy who ran our tour was very knowledgeable and made us laugh. It is a nice and different way to see some of the history. It wont take long, but for a quick little distraction I really enjoyed it.

Everyone loves a bit of punting. You queue to get on and then you can either punt yourself or hire someone to do it for you. Not too expensive for a couple of hours if there is a group of you. Good fun and nice on a hot sunny day too!

We had a really good time being driven along on the punt today. Even though we couldn't go on the main river today due to the rapid flow the guide made it very enjoyable by giving us a guided tour with the history of the area as we went. He made it a great experience.
