Right from my first phone call to Lucy I felt reassured that I'd come to the right place. She gave me all the time and information in such a kind and respectful way on that call, that I was left feeling that I didn't need to look any further for the right funeral director for Dad's funeral. Lucy was brilliant in everything she did – the calm and clear way she explained everything, her responsiveness (and patience!) to our emails about potential last minute changes and in particular, the way she empowered us to do the service ourselves. Something which we never would have thought we could do, but something which we're immensely grateful we did, and something which we couldn't have done without Lucy's discreet direction, support and her confidence in us. Nothing felt too much trouble and it made a very stressful situation so much easier than it could have been. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Lucy.

They went the extra distance to do things the way I wanted. At the funeral, everyone commented on how beautiful everything was - the place, the coffin. I found the presence of Lucy and her colleague at the funeral very respectful and supportive. Very caring and dedicated company. I'd recommend them.
Lucy was exceptionally kind and took care of everything for me with calm efficiency. She was always there immediately when I had questions or needed her advice, and I really relied on her support. I recommend her highly.
The Individual Funeral Company were a recommendation and they were truly wonderful - I cannot speak highly enough of them. Lucy and her team were professional and considerate throughout the preparation for my younger sister’s funeral - giving us space to grieve whilst making sure we had all the information to make decisions. They recognised we wanted the day to be a celebration of life and gave us options to personalise the traditional - striking a balance between the two. What was perhaps the most important thing for our family was the level of care they provided for my sister. They maintained the highest level of trust and dignity and were her advocate throughout the entire process - providing honest advice on what was best for her. On a very wet day in the middle of a pandemic Lucy gave us a beautiful goodbye - with the things that mattered to our family in place. We will be forever grateful.
