I had a very helpful conversation with Luke who assisted me in knowing if it was right to intervene after seeing a mother bird killed leaving behind a nest of 4 babies in my garden. I was able to rescue all and bring them in for care and rehabilitation (and eventual lives back in the wild). Great communication. Thanks, Didcot Wildlife Preserve, for providing me with information about what to do and for giving these little birds safety.

We called this charity after our dog had found this fox pup. The team were very helpful and friendly. We were made to feel welcome and we are very grateful there is somebody there who cares for these animals. Top job , would highly recommend them.

It is clear when you find somewhere that really, truly and honestly does all that they can to help the wildlife under their care. After walking for over half an hour cradling a crow that had been attacked by someone’s dog, it was heartbreaking giving it away to someone else to look after (even though it was definitely the best thing to do!). This was my first time coming to the rescue, but my partner and I could tell that that crow is going to be looked after well by the team! They shared an update the next day letting us know the crow is doing much better!

Such an amazing team!! They only have the animals well-being at the heart of their service. I have witnessed first hand the speed in which they respond to an animal in distress all with such compassion absolutely amazing, beyond words. Luke and his team are selfless and do such a wonderful job. Thank you for all you do for injured wildlife animals in Oxfordshire!

What a wonderful team! The care for animals is second to none, and it's fuelled by a passionate love of animals, and keeping them safe. I've contacted them myself when I disturbed an animal habitat; they responded fast, with clear instructions. If I could rate them higher, I would!

Great organisation. I had what I thought was a pigeon (but turned out to be a collared dove) that had flown into my patio doors and couldn't fly. Luke gave me advice over the phone to try and help it and then when it became clear it wasn't just concussed and needing a rest he arranged for someone to come and collect it from me to care for it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, genuinely caring about all animals.

I encountered a wild baby deer on the road which someone had clearly hit and driven off. It was very injured but alert enough to attempt to flee. I phoned OWR and was in contact with them immediately, gave the location and was given a rough/estimated time. In the meantime I stayed with the deer to ensure it remained in the same place. When they arrived they immediately got to work, communicating so well and got the deer into a safe place to be taken for medical help. I can't even begin to explain the relief I felt and how nice it was to know the injured animal was now in safe hands. Thank you guys for everything you do!
