We had a horrible experience first in the B&B accommodation and then in the Dairy, advertised as 4 star self catering for up to 6 people. Many faults and discrepancies but by far the most egregious was no hot water or central heating 9am-5pm in the self catering accommodation on Christmas day and Boxing day. We were given no prior warning of this., and no means of knowing. By the time we had moved in on Christmas Eve, owners had left to stay elsewhere. They had left a mobile number but failed to respond to efforts to contact them despite us advising one of member of our party during Christmas day was a newborn baby ! We managed by cleaning out the wood burning stove and then setting out to find somewhere selling kindling, wood etc. on Xmas Day. Thank goodness for 24/7 fuel stations, without these not sure what we have done in response to such irresponsible behaviour.
