Found this to be a great lounge. Good COVID safe practices. If you're there in the morning, the bacon rolls are exceptional

As my husband doesn’t cope well with crowds we always book a lounge at airports and this time we booked the ‘new’ Lomond Lounge. We were impressed by the Covid preparations and the cleanliness, mask wearing of staff etc. Food was high standard if somewhat limited and drinks as and when desired. However, having paid 40 each for a couple, I was somewhat dismayed to realise that not everyone in the lounge had either booked or paid! The gentleman at the next table appeared baffled when asked if he had booked but was allowed to remain, eat and drink without being required to make good his omission. Perhaps the reason it is more expensive than other lounges is to allow those of us who have paid to foot the bill for those who don’t.

The lounge is well laid out to socially distance, and staff are very friendly. Edited to add, back 3 weeks later and the staff here really are superb!

Very attentive service. I was there late evening. Good selection of cocktails. I had a spicy Bloody Mary, the burger from the a la carte menu and three glasses of delicious rioja. I part paid with my dragon pass card so only had to stump up 15. Good value.

The Lomond Lounge is very stylish with great service standards and views of the runway. I got a deal which meant I didn't pay full price which I am glad of. It's a much better option than most other pay for lounges however for the full price charge (40) the bar options are quite limited, for example they won't make you an espresso martini even though they have an espresso machine, and the hot food is average. The cold buffet is better. Was there in the afternoon and there was no signs of afternoon tea. I would score it 3.5 if I could rather than four.

Went on opening day. Had plenty of time to enjoy the lounge. Staff excellent. Food excellent. Service excellent. Very comfortable and still good value at 40. But probably need a reasonable amount of time to get your moneys worth.

Have used the lounge 3 times now. Always great service in a very comfortable environment. Staff are excellent and manager very open to suggestions for any improvements. Food is great and I believe the lounge is excellent value compared to airport bars and restaurants.
