EEH BY GUM, At first look a small and questionable place,Really good fish & Chips cooked fresh while you wait .served with a smile the people are polite up north even asked if I wanted scarps ( bits of left over fish batter) served in newspaper worth driving the 150 miles. I will be back next Thursday, me duck

Used these for a few year and drive out of our village for them but I was really disappointed when I couldn’t use my bank card and was told to go round a corner and there was a cash machine ...I asked a few times “on the left or right” but no further directions So I set off and I was baffled?? I asked someone and they pointed me over a busy main road to a blacked out shop that looked closed down I went in and the cash machine was near the counter and I paid 1.99 to get 10 out! It would have been so easy for the man in the fish shop to tell me to cross road and look for a blacked out shop with cash machine inside ..will stick to hillside chippy in future at Ackworth where I can use my card and the staff are really helpful Doesn’t cost much to be friendly
