Very helpful to park here and walk to the village or find scenic spots around the lake for a picnic. Boat hire also available. Loved the ice cream from the village shop. Very friendly people.

Quite expensive but easy to pay, takes card as well as cash, lots of space, right next to the bridge itself, dogs and kids could go to the riverbank and play in water. Lovely woodland walk leading out of the car park with stunning aerial views of the lake.
Everyone is working so hard, in Pooley Bridge , in the Lake District. From the construction of the new bridge, to every shop, or business owner., everyone is doing their best, to make this village, fully functioning again after the old bridge was washed away.
Handy for village
This car park is currently out of commission while they rebuild the bridge (A temporary one is in place, so you can still cross!). Completion isn't due until Spring 2020 (I think) - There is an 'Independent' car park that charges 3 for the whole day back in Pooley Bridge or an official Council car park immediately on the other side of the bridge.
