Food is great and reasonably priced! Staff are super friendly & helpful.1st time I've eaten inside upstairs & i was pleasantly surprised at how nice, tidy & spacious it is upstairs, especially fir a chip shop! Been before and always make a point of returning when I'm in the area. Thanks guys

Normally love this place,been a fair few times. After today I won't be going back. Took home a fishcake and a breadcake, after the third mouthful I spat it out and held it up by the long hair lodged in it,I'm surprised I didn't throw up. Needless to say the rest went in the bin,I wouldn't even give it to my dog!! Disgusting. If I could've awarded no stars I would have.

i wouldnt go to this place if it was the last on earth the way the man frying the fish treated this poor fella who begged for a few chips and told him to leave his shop a homeless man with nothing and very polite i ended uo buying the poor fella fish n chips but didnt buy my own after seeing how he trea this man

My wife and I have been here several times. You have the drawback it is up stairs and do not know if there is a lift. We always have the same pensioners fish & chips tea bread and butter. My experience is you get excellent value for your money the fish as always been lovely and the chips have never disappointed and the pensioners portions are more than my wife can eat. We both agree just old fashion quality food at more than a reasonable price.
