I would never have started to pursue acting as a career if it hadn't been for the outstanding support and training that YMT offers, both in their skills courses and official productions. I was so nervous and anxious that I wouldn't fit in or belong, but you do become a big happy family whilst you're training! It's so exciting to spend a few weeks away from home creating a brand new piece of theatre with like-minded people, as well as giving you the required skills and attributes to perform full time. I will be forever grateful to everyone at YMT for the incredible opportunities they have given me, and I truly recommend to everyone, no matter what your skill level, to come to the national auditions, which are a great experience on their own!.
