I guess I excepted a bit more from this castle. Not that much to see and explore inside. Some exhibition on WWI, a number of canons , small gift shop and cafe. We did go into the tunnels with a volunteer guide. The view from the top is breathtaking, but you will not want to return to this place again and again compare to other UK and European Castles. This is more of a fort , military outpost, than proper castle in my opinion. However, if you like military history you would probably find this place interesting.

Lovely place blessed with a nice peaceful walk didn't go into castle buy definitely next time I will see inside ️
Fantastic place, well run and friendly. The castle is steeped in ahuge amount of history, good for children as well as adults. There is also a csfe which serves food and drinks and you can choose to sit inside or out on a warm day.
Great place to visit. Nice views over Falmouth, the surrounding area and the sea. All staff we interacted with were friendly and polite. All the necessary social distancing measures in place. We also visited the main keep in a small group led by a guide (Lucy). She was very knowledgeable, we learned a lot about the place. Good experience.
Really interesting visit. Beautiful views, interesting history, friendly staff and super friendly wildlife! The buzzard in these photos landed about 3 feet from us and was totally unfazed by being close to humans. A wonderful moment. We asked the shop staff and it turns out that he's wild but basically the resident castle buzzard :-)
Not much of a castle to be fair. It was quite expensive for for what it was. Worth a look if your in the area but I wouldn't travel a long distance. I've been to bigger and better castles so maybe I was expecting too much.
A beautiful and historic landmark dominating Falmouth bay. An essential visit, steeped in history, it does not disappoint.
Beautiful views! We visited at the very end of the day so it was a slightly rushed visit but still very enjoyable. We were so lucky with the weather and spent lots of time outside so may have missed quite a bit of the inside areas so do need to return. The tour guide who took us into the keep was very good, lots of interesting facts to share.
