Very basic but great views and location.

On a hill so most pitches are not flat. Toilet block not that close to pitches so a pain if you have young children. When not a busy bank holiday, it is quiet and good value with great views and lots of space. On a busy bank holiday the facilities didn't really cope (had problems with water supply/showers, not enough sinks to wash up at etc). Staff/owners friendly and helpful.
We had really nice stay. The room was big and spacious, the bed very comfortable, the shower room was newly renovated and spotless clean. There were kettle and cups in the room with variety of tea, coffee and also sugar and milk what was very convenient and handy. There were everything we needed for stay over night. The breakfast was amazing: freshly prepared English breakfast plus cornflakes, toast, jam, orange juice, coffee... beautifully served and delicious. It kept us full for whole day. There is walk way behind the farm, where we went to enjoy the view and took some pictures. The owners are very nice and kind people. We only regret that we couldn't stay longer. We would be happy to come back in the future.
Great if u like the freedom pitch up where u like campfire etc. Not many rules so partys going well after midnight .toilets and shower facities not big enough for how many people on site. So expect to wait for a shower. And u have to park ur car away from where u pitch so u have to carry ur gear That said. The owner is very nice. And the view are great. Would go again. Thanks
Lovely views. Great camping experience
Views were stunning but parking is not organised, social distancing measures were not put in place, there was a quad bike going around the field from 7am to about 11pm. Not the camping experience that I wanted. Toilet and shower facilities are not the best.
Natural beauty spot, great camping location, well run. Should mention about not being able to park where you pitch though. Not a massive problem but a minor inconvenience all the same. Cracking place though.
Pros: lovely scenery and you can rent fire pits at night. Cons: horrendous facilities. The park was very full and there is two female showers and toilets for hundreds of people. The shower block was filthy and by the second day there was no running water from the taps! Wasn't able to even brush our teeth or splash our face.
