I have never come across a commercial organisation that was so unhelpful. TBF I did receive an email response, but it was a generic one that wasn't signed and didn't address my email. They had no interest in quoting, asking questions, putting me on a list to contact later or re-reading my email when I pointed out the errors in their own arithmetic. I never did find out who was emailing on behalf of the company and hope I never do. I can't imagine a business with such dreadful customer service being around for much longer, I would avoid.

Wasted a morning off work to have a survey done for a new boiler. The gas man who condemned my boiler recommended them. He said they dealt with grants and I might qualify for something towards the cost, even though I work full time. I knew I was going to have to pay money towards it as I have an old back boiler, so a new one would need to go in a different location. The chap who did the survey clearly wasn't happy with my plans to want it in the bathroom - the airing cupboard was his preference! I'm sorry - but if I'm paying, then I'll have it where I like thanks . They also did a quote for loft insulation at the same time. This quote I received quickly, but I had to ring them to chase the boiler quote. It was then that I was told the rules had changed and now it was a requirement that underfloor insulation was in place (this was not mentioned in the initial consultation) to get any kind of grant towards the cost. I was told they could send an email to double check this information though and that they'd get back to me. That was 2 weeks ago now. I've been without a boiler for a month so have booked an installation with another company.
