A small wood with parking and a trail. Coming from Dunning there is a small layby style car park, whereas a few 100 metres further there is a sharp left into a small car park. This car park can hold perhaps 3-4 cars and there are several trails. The longest is approx 0.5 miles long. It is mostly flat and there was no problems with the trails. The view outside the wood itself is of Craigrossie in the distance and the local fields. The road to/from dunning runs alongside. There are signs displaying information about the local flora and fauna. The woodland itself used to be a Roman military site.
