First time we've ventured out for a meal since before lock down. You have to book in advance, which is easy enough, it was quiet enough for us to pick a seat of our choice when we got there. Arrows directing you around the place, good amount of space for distancing purposes. Menu was nice and simple and the app worked well. Food was good and the staff were very helpful. They still had the offer on, 50% off, so it was very good value.

Good food, good drink and waitresses have some great banter. On a side note, the sinks are designed for a lord of the rings movie set. They are set for people the height of dwarves. Terri, top marks waitress. She needs a raise.

Three excellent beers on offer. Pizzas cooked to order on Tuesdays. Indian food cooked by locals on the first Sunday of every month. Very friendly manager. Nice, modern decor. Good selection of gins, whiskies and ciders.

A large pub in the heart of the Fair City of Perth with several largish rooms all with seating areas which concentrate on the food side of this establishment. They also have a lot of televisions strategically placed, so good for watching live sports. The building is obviously historic although I am not sure what it was in its previous existence, it boasts large windows with good views.

Bright change of decor since we were last in a few years ago when it was rather dark and dingy. Social distancing/one way arrows/screens at bar and Track/Trace details taken upon arrival. Food was excellent much improved menu from previous visit too. Weirdly our starters were brought with our mains rather than before. Unfortunately there was a smell of damp, which was off putting, but it's an old building, and it was a very wet day... staff pleasant enough, and it did fill up as we sat so it's a popular daytime haunt not just a pub.
