I have just received my Peruvian paintbox pullover which is beautiful. The craftmanship is superb as is the design. I am absolutely over the moon with this precious item of clothing made in Peru. My wife orders clothes from Peruvian Connection the last dress we ordered arrived all creased when I phoned to complain they said send it back and they would send another. My wife wanted it for the weekend so I took it to the dry cleaner and got it pressed. Peruvian Connection wouldn’t give us a credit note for the price of the dry cleaning. That didn’t stop my wife buying another dress which was reduced to 232. When she tried it on the cut of the dress was not right for her so we wanted to send it back. There was no prepaid returns label which I found difficult to believe at that price. I phoned up and spoke to Anne. Obviously this needs to be sent back recorded and I would think at a cost of ten pounds. I asked Anne if we could be credited back for the postage as we bought a few things from them. She says it was not company policy to do so. When I said she wasn’t interested in helping to sort the problem out she accused me of being aggressive and put the phone down. If this is the quality of the front line staff for the company it’s not good. Anne needs some training in how to deal with people on the phone before she should able to carry on in employment. A bit of common sense and they would have kept a customer. My advice before buying anything from this company is don’t think you’ll just buy a few items and send the the wrong sizes back or like us, it didn’t fit correctly, and think it’s a normal returns policy. Either this is not an easy company to deal with or the frontline staff are hopeless. Buy somewhere else !
