I asked this company to install some electric radiators for me. I told them the radiators I wanted and they came and assessed the sizes needed, ordered and installed these in September 2020. The heating was inadequate and I thought it was something I was doing wrong but after several calls to the radiator manufacturer, I discovered that I was mis-advised by MJE, and that I needed an extra radiator and two others moving around. I sent an email to MJE on 20th January telling them about the problem and asking them to put it right at no cost to me (apart from the extra radiator which I purchased). They didn't acknowledge my email or answer follow-up telephone calls. I sent another email on 3rd February and they finally acknowledge that on 4th February. My daughter had rung them in the meantime and Mike was very rude to her and said it wasn't their fault because I hadn't wanted the radiators they normally supplied. They also said that they were not working at present because of COVID, apart from admin - yet they hadn't bothered to acknowledged my initial email. Because my bungalow was so very cold, I got another electrician in who did the job in a morning, and was excellent. MJE are quite obviously not good at handling complaints. I shall never use them again.

MJ electrical were so friendly and professional. They serviced our boiler and explained everything as they were doing it, I feel like I’ve learnt a lot today! They were also really thorough and didn’t rush, checking everything they could to make sure my gas boiler was working safely. If you live in the Peterborough area I wouldn’t recommend using anyone else! I have complete confidence in their work and that my boiler is safe. 10/10!
Very professional and friendly service and easy booking on their website. MJ Electrical installed Cat 5 cabels, updated our sockets, installed new mains smoke detectors, new lights and most recently our oven. Am hoping to use them again in the near future!!
