I was a complete beginner to learning piano but had always had an interest in wanting to learn. Sally made what seemed to be something daunting, really easy. Sally is super friendly, patient and encouraging & I feel progress with every lesson that we have. Sally gives small well explained tasks to take away and practice in between lessons & keeps each lesson fun & engaging. Highly recommend!

Sally Freeman not only teaches piano but teaches theory of music too, and even offers a theory marking service for a nominal fee which I used in November 2020. Sally did not rush to mark my work (as some schoolteachers do) and offers positive comments for improvement when required in clear and legible handwriting. Sally is very easy to find, less than 10 minutes walk from the busy Kings Heath High Street and the Outer Circle 11 bus route, car parking is usually alright and she will always keep in touch with you via email so you don't have to keep chasing her up! Her home is cosy and warm, which is a perfectly holistic environment to learn piano (COVID-19 restrictions permitting), she is very friendly and relaxed and she will teach ANYBODY the joys of musicmaking with confidence, child, adult or senior citizen. There needs to be MORE pianists in Brum and Sally is doing her bit to make that happen!!!
