Amazing flute teacher, who has taken me all the way from grade 1, to preparing for grade 8. Jayne is very knowledgeable and supportive, and always makes you feel calm and prepared if you’ve got an exam coming up. She doesn’t rush the learning process in any way, so you learn at your own pace, and she is very patient and gives excellent constructive criticism if (when) you make mistakes. Also, the lessons are priced very reasonably for their quality, which is an added bonus - highly recommend!!

Jayne has taught my daughter saxophone and myself the clarinet for the past 4 years and has always been reliable, professional and well-organised. She was the only teacher I contacted who was able to help us navigate the choice of musical instrument best-suited to my daughter, who has since progressed steadily through her grades under Jayne's instruction. Jayne is calm, kind and supportive during lessons and is extremely knowledgeable about her subject. She has a huge amount of experience as a music teacher and is always happy to advise and share her knowledge. I would thoroughly recommend her as a teacher.
There’s no one I’d rather have! Jayne’s taught me for around 8 years, and has taken me close to Grade 6 in one instrument and Grade 8 in another. Throughout this whole time she’s been nothing but supportive and patient, and pushes you to work even when you feel like giving up. She‘s so relaxed and has never made me feel like I’m being rushed to do the next exam, so you’ll always feel like you’re working at the pace that you want to work at - that’s something I never experienced when I played other instruments with other teachers, so it’s definitely something I don’t take for granted! I genuinely can’t fault her in any way, and I’ll always be grateful for everything she’s done. Would highly highly recommend!
