Sumona has been instrumental in our son securing a place in MTS( it was our target school) and 4 other schools he applied for. He started with Sumona in spring term of year 4 - at that time he really struggled at creative writing. Sumona was very patient with him - firm and encouraging at the right time. She is very methodical and structured in her approach, and knows exactly what each school is looking for in their prospective students. She is always available to talk and feedback on the progress. Though 11 plus is a big focus , her approach equips the child with the necessary skills and tools to excel beyond 11 plus . We are so pleased to have found Sumona, and I will be back in a few years when my daughter will be prepping for 11 plus. Can’t thank you enough Sumona!

My son started in year 6 with a focus on creative writing and reading comprehension which are very much required for 11 exams. Within few weeks, he was able to analyse comprehension easily and able to elaborate answers in writing comprehension. Sumona helped him crack both Grammar and Independent schools 11 exams with confidence. I really recommend Sumona as she provides much needed motivation and encouragement.
We were very fortunate to get Sumona as a teacher who was highly recommended to us by our friends. Sumona is not only a fantastic English tutor but an equally wonderful person. Her patience, calm demeanour and teaching techniques are some of the key attributes which she applied during every lesson. My daughter just loved going for her classes and would eagerly wait for it every week. We moved from India 2 years back and my daughter had to move up from year 3 to year 4 in UK because of our age. She suddenly had to cope up with the school and different subjects which were at a higher level as she had to jump up a class. It was not easy for her as the standard of English is much higher in UK and understandably so. We were extremely lucky to get to know Sumona. She gave us the confidence that she will take charge of our daughter and help her through. Believe you me that was the best decision we took. Our daughter suddenly was full Of Confidence and she was enjoying her session and looking forward for her classes with Sumona. She completely transformed our daughter in believing in herself and she started getting excellent scores in English . Sumona also started her intensive and well thought through 11 curriculum for our daughter and her writing ability moved notches up. Our daughter has cleared both HABS and St. Helen’s and has got letters for admission from both the schools. We are extremely grateful to Sumona for all her support and dedication to our daughter and not only making her cope up with the change and transition from India to UK but made her competent to take on 11exams and private school entrances. Me and my husband are so glad that we came across Sumona’s profile online. We were seeking placement for our two daughters in London’s top schools. And with her profile, we couldn’t see anyone better for our kids and with Sumona’s hard work , my daughters got placed in 13 .
