Ordered a lunch box with chicken curry and rice for a quick take away. The food was good and tasty albeit a bit too spicy for my liking (had requested less spicy). They have a good range of choices and I'll be more selective the next time around. The cook was pleasant and made good suggestions. I'd definitely go back.

Was better before lockdown- I think the chef must’ve changed or something. Before, the food was given in pretty small quantities to the extent where it’s less than generous and more like perfect but when we went the portions were big and I could tell the quality wasn’t as good as it was just a couple of months ago. The food costs quite a bit too and so for that money it isn’t worth it anymore. Didn’t expect the quality would suffer so badly... wouldn’t recommend and most srilankan takeaways are better. I took the chicken kothu roti along with the curry and my friends took the vegetarian kothu roti along with the jackfruit curry which wasn’t great at all. Starters were decent- the chicken 65 tasted good but the mutton fry was mediocre.

Actually my family of 4 just walked in without booking .they welcome us with a temperature check and handwash gel at the entrance .we saw two staff cleaning tables and the chairs .I felt this place is safe to eat in a pandamic . very clean and nicely maintained .staff are great helping us with our choice of food .my kids loved the mutton chops and the biryani .the food is good and big portions plenty for all of us .my Mrs ordered mutton noodles and squid curry .myself ordered lumprise but I have to take that home .because we had so much food left I end up eating all .only flip side is less choice of beers .also we enjoyed chancellor rishi sunaks discount of 40 pounds on the bill.thank you Mr sunak. welldone virunthu keep up the good work .we will visit again .super 5 stars for the staff and the owners .

Friendly, authentic and delicious! I would highly recommend this if you fancy dabbling with some lovely Sri Lankan cuisine.
