This is a self-employed family business based in Spondon, Derby, and so not tied to a company. I have always found them to be 1). Trustworthy - To the best of my knowledge they have always been impeccable, you don't need to worry about hiding the silver lol. 2). Insured - As far as I know they are always insured and will provide a copy of the insurance certificate upon request. 3). Qualified - I believe he attained his qualifications in 1996. 4). Accreditation and Certification - They are registered with whatever the regulatory body happens to be at the time. 4). Experience - Over 20 years. 5). Attitude - Always very friendly, polite and helpful. 6). Pricing - A little above average but not the most expensive, however they do have a call out fee for out of hours or emergencies. 7). Equipment - They are fully equipped with professional tools and reliable transport. I hope that you find this useful and I will update this review more as time goes by.

After ringing him he came around to look at my heating after issues with a radiator charged an initial 60 call out fee not a problem. Diagnosed the problem said he could sort it he will go away and email us with a quote and take it from there. No email no follow up phonecall obviously didn't want the job which is fair enough but not really fair to us who have to now telephone another plumber who will want another call out fee to diagnose the problem as I can't imagine they will take our word on what the problem is, so we are 120 down before any work has actually been done...
We had an emergency plumbing problem a few weeks ago and we contacted Liam who had been recommended to us. The service he provided was first class,he arrived promptly and carried out the work required. We had an issue with our insurers over the claim,however Liam gave us a lot of help and the matter was resolved satisfactorily. We cannot speak too highly of him,there are not many traders who would go to the lengths he did to help us.
Pipeworks make sure you get great service, great value, all with the minimum fuss... The other day my heating stopped working and we were freezing! I called Liam who told me what to do over the phone. 15 Minuets later the place was warm again and the heating was sorted with no call out fees, no repair bill and no delays. Pipeworks think of their customer first and their fee second. Take my advice, for great service, advice and value, don't go anywhere else.
Being in the trade myself, it is important to be able to rely on good quality trades people when working on jobs together. I have worked alongside Liam from Pipeworks Plumbing and Heating on numerous jobs and always trust him to do a good job. He really knows his stuff on all aspects of plumbing and heating, from full bathroom installations & full heating systems to a leaking tap.
