Great place. Have used it regularly since 2018 and will continue to do so. Decks and sound system usually in good nick and faults are usually dealt with in good time. Only gripe is that they really do need another dj room. Most other cities have 2/3 even more. You often have to book weeks in advance for peak times whilst the majority of rehearsal studios sit empty, pretty frustrating in a city with 2 big unis and a shed load of local djs too

Room was awesome, equipment in great nick. All door codes worked fine. They even had a heater as it was freezing so thank you! They had cleaning sprays and tissue to wipe things down (COVID-19). So All well and good. Will definitely use again :-)

Cheap for a reason, avoid. Used to practice here with a band a couple of years ago, and while the quality has always been below par it was fine for what we were doing. Sadly I booked a room last night to practice my vocals and nothing worked. Speaker sound quality poor, backing tracks wouldn't even play through the PA. Add in the noise coming from a DJ in another rehearsal room and all in all a terrible experience. My feedback for Pirate would be to quality check equipment before you charge for it!

Great, easy to use rehearsal spaces. Had some issues in the past but all have been resolved by a friendly customer service team. All we need is a production studio in the nottingham branch!

Door codes have always worked for me, the full drum kit does the job, amps and mics work well. There's plenty of parking outside. The rooms do get warm as the AC rarely works, but it's all part of the fun.

Overall recommend. Good space. Can't moan too much because this was a free trial, however... Drum kit was spot on. PA worked well. Bass amp was solid, Ashdown workhorse, though not a great tone. Of the two mics provided, one didn't work. There were meant to be two guitar amps, there were none, though there was a Marshall 412 cab. It may or may not have been working, as the website had stated every room was equipped with amps, we didn't take them. We did contact the online support service who gave us access to the spares room. There was a guitar amp in there which we took to the room. It didn't work, clearly broken as it spattered into life for a few seconds here and there. Ended up going back to aforementioned spares room and using a bass combo for guitar which was solid, but as you might expect, a bit muddy with a Strat. Overall I would recommend as long as you take some of your own stuff, but it was frustrating as we didn't think we'd have to beyond the minimum guitars and cables. Considering we were in room 8 and there are loads of rooms on site, an actual person to problem solve would maybe be affordable.

These rehearsal rooms are great. Book online and they give you access via codes to enter the rooms. Could do with a drinks machine, like a van machine for thirsty musicians! Also most of the rooms had a recording feature when it first opened but now only 1 room has it. The AC never work but apart from that it’s all been a good experience. If you have a issue they are quick to rectify.

Awful, avoid. Couldn't get anything working, no contact from the studio and no refund given.
