The restaurant was organised and clean. There was a clear and safe process to follow. I found it challenging get onto the website so ordering my food took a while. Once I got onto the website I found the process easy to understand and was able to pay by card. The food was delicious. I miss the salad bar but there are going to be sacrifices at the moment. I was given a takeaway box to take my leftovers home. Overall it was a good experience.

Food was good as normal, first time we've been out as a family since lock down and obviously we were not used to the new rules....the guy on the door said we had to have face masks. On the door there are no signs stating that we have to wear a face mask in a food restaurant. Anyways I got my face mask from the car and my wife had a head scarf on so she covered her face with it. The guy on the door was awkward and said that's not good enough you need a proper mask. I had to call the manager to explain to him a face covering is a face covering, there is guidance on any specific types....anyway got sorted but won't be going there again as the man on the door not very pleasant. The lady who came to give us the food was very polite and well mannered.
Very expensive for what you get, a small bowl of green salad, consists of a bit of lettuce, lots of grated carrot and 4 cherry tomatoes, a tablespoon of thousand Island dressing, no onions, no cucumber. I understand they can't open help yourself, but that portion was ridiculous, the price of individual pizza is extremely expensive and a bottle of bud almost 5. Won't be going back, even though the service was great and so was the pizzas.
Firstly, I put my order through online. No issues. However, a few minutes later, the manager/duty manager called to tell me there were no cookie dough desserts and quote o pizza hut in the country has desserts at the moment\ and offered me sides. I chose additional sides and put the phone down. This seemed a bit fishy to me, so I called your White Rose store and your Horbury delivery store who both confirmed that they did, in fact, have desserts in. I called back the Wakefield store and spoke to the same person, asking them to cancel my order, as I explained I would be ordering from somewhere that could offer me what I wanted. She told me I'd have to cancel my order and speak to customer services for a refund which, given you're now online only, seemed a bit too much of a faff for some desserts. We proceeded with the order and I was told it'd be ready in 15 minutes. I got to the restaurant and there was a 10 person queue outside. I made my way to the front to find no staff on the door and bemused customers waiting to be seated. I pushed my way through to the bar and found the manager. She apologised for the mix ups on the desserts and gave me my order, which was handily stacked on the side ready for me to collect. Only it wasn't my order. I ordered a simple pepperoni and a margarita with chicken. It's raining pretty heavily up here in Wakefield, so I ran to the car, chucked the pizzas on the back seat and my girlfriend drove us home. To my utter shock when we got back, we opened the boxes to find a ham and pineapple (what?) and a ham, mushroom and red onion pizza. This is utterly ridiculous. I understand you're busy, but from start to finish it's just been a complete arse up.
Impromptu visit today on meerkat meals and we were not disappointed. The food was spot on and Harvey our server was a delight, he was efficient and happy to entertain us when we were asking silly questions in our giddy state. We opted for jalapeno poppers and the cheese and onion bites for our starters which were tiny balls of molten yumminess. Our mains were a create your own stuffed crust and epic veggie stuffed crust which I would recommend to anyone. The pizza came and was filled with bright colours and tastes divine, I couldn't wait to dive in! The only negative was when we came to use the facilities. The hand dryers were not working in either the ladies or the gents and there was no loo roll in the ladies (nightmare for us girls!!). Nothing too serious though, just ensure you have some tissue in your pocket just in case.
