I have lived here for the past two years in combined flats with other people which has been nice. I decided to stay this year in a studio and I can safely say that I'm not regretting my decision. The rooms are comfy with reasonable amount of space to move around. All beds are almost doubles, which is quite nice coming from a single when I'm at home. The only thing I would say is a let down is the laundry services. With only 3 washing machines for the whole building and four tumble dryers it can sometimes be a hit or miss when you want to do some washing. But nevertheless, the staff are quite accomodating and will help with whatever you need. Each staff member I've come into contact with over the past two years to now have been so nice and very talkative which gives a sense of community in the building itself. It's unfortunate that due to the current climate, social gatherings that were previously done in the common room can't be done this year, but I do hope that its something that will continue into the future.

I'll give host accomodation 5 stars for their staff (especially Mel who goes above and beyond to help us when needed, always welcomed us back with a smile and always friendly), there payment system and their support. However, it's been 2 months since I moved in and my window still won't open. If that was fixed or a resolution that didn't involve me having to pack my stuff up and see if there are rooms available and get used to new people, I'd do it I love the accomodation, centre of town, great access to university, the job market and the night life. During carona, they've been on top of everything as well as checking in with people's mental well being Would recommend for any students looking for accomodation for their first year

My experience of Central Point has been less than satisfactory. Aside from the maintenance and security gentleman it is let down by poor administration team who fail to communicate important issues and changes effectively. The bathrooms and kitchens are very outdated which lets the nice bedrooms. I would not live here again!

Lived hear for two years in a studio so far and returning in September. The staff really make the place and are really friendly and helpful. Location is ideal. First year had a few issues with noise from neighbours and it is a bit of a trek to take the bins out and I imagine this would be difficult for disabled students. Prices are high but the flats are nice.

My iclke boy is there, seems clean and tidy. Lots of noise from the road and surrounding areas. Windows don't open properly and it gets super hot. If your moving there get a fan!!
